U should change topic title to phenom 2 fix
Anyone know a fix for this using the offical Intel SDE, I've tried the method above, I've tried doing "tasklist" and "-attach-pid" in command prompt, the best I can do is get to the Menu occasionally in the full game, where as the demo runs A-ok with the method (5 hours and loving the demo! No issues apart from the initial 2 min launch time. Its so pretty <3) just no luck with the full game. I'd rather get the SDE working to get the nice demo-like performance, than find 600-700 Euros suddenly for a new PC :(
Maybe I've done something wrong for the full version as mine starts up in task manager then closes down again when it sees SDE.
I would buy you a new pc anytime lol
Wouldnt call it pirating if u actually own a copy of the game
It's against the license agreement, but what can you do when poor choices have been made by the development team, from the ♥♥♥♥ up with the demo exe, to adding denovo, and not allowing this support to happen when infact a phenom II 6 core should run this game on low to medium settings ok. my i5 and quad core xeon are around 50-60% useage on all cores so yeah those old 6 cores should finally get some use as back then there wasnt much multi threading support.
I think its also counted the time I've tried to get it to work by loading it and being in the demo. If you launch the demo via windows and you have the full FFXV on your account I think it racks up hours on it, I wanted to show my friend that a Phenom II can run Final Fantasy XV just fine, so i streamed it to him while playing as proof (dropped 4 FPS while doing it and went to 24-26 FPS @ Medium settings while streaming FFXV-Demo on a Phenom CPU.) Hence where some of the time has come from.
I've had some minor success by launching the full game from steam, using the SDE method but quickly intercepting it in command prompt with the "C:FFGameDirectory\tasklist" then "...sde -attach-pid #ApplicationNumber#". I can get my game to load to the main menu, see all the DLC listed but the loading screen of New Game or Load Game causes the game to no longer respond. I strongly suspect Denuvo is detecting the SDE on loading screens and seeing it as tampering, thus crashing it.
Sorry for the long messages, I try to be thorough!
As mentioned by some people there IS a version out there that would work fine with the SDE method on a Phenom CPU, but I'm not sure I want to go that route and would rather play my full steam game version, if its ever officially fixed...
When the best patches are made by "criminals".
Also I hope Dr Dro reads this
Dr Dro its hilarious to still see you going into amd phenom threads to ♥♥♥♥ on its users. It plays almost all games at 1080p/60fps, even new games like Kingdom Come Deliverance or PUBG. I was just looking at the Mafia 3 thread when it wasnt yet fixed to work on cpu's that dont support SSE 4.1 and then later it got fixed so everyone on a Phenom cpu was able to play anyway ( after a small bit of work from the developers, the customers were able to play the game they bought. ). You're in there telling ppl tp upgrade as well lol. But then after it got patched you conceded and said this:

As long as you're happy with it, who am I to stop you? Can't deny they're old, though.
They are old. At least 7 years old. But with a good amount of ram and a 1060gtx you can run so many games at 1080p/60fps. Only a bare handful of games simply do not work ( AC Origins, FFXV ).
Thank you!
