Whats with all the hate about Cindy?

Seriously, what's up with you people? Since when having a sexy character, designed purely for fanservice and eye relief was a bad thing? It's an all times canon for japanese games/anime, i don't get all the hate. Id say It's quite a nice change from your bro party, when you are tired looking at their leather clad asses you go to Hammerhead to refuel Regalia and watch some nice fanservice scene, it's absolutely normal and actually nice since theres no female protagonists. Yet people here and on reddit keep talking about how ill fitting Cindy is for ff15 atmosphere. Sounds like bunch of feminists whining about objectification again >.<

She talks to much when giving quests and the "Eye Candy" is meh.

She is also ill fitting. The accent is out of left field, and a mechanic would not dress like that unless they enjoy second degree burns on exposed skin. Still got some scars from my grease monkey days.

So what I am saying is add burn scars and remove the accent and she is perfect.

maybe because you should't objectifying women by oversexulizing them in games then pretend you are not. have some respect. you get mixed feeling when see girl look like a whorre and treated like a lady. this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ has a redneck southern accent too which is weird. the only normal person is prompto guy who has a lust feeling to her in this game. which is normal because she looks like a complete slutt.

This was one of the more offensive blog posts I've seen. She calls Cindy trailer trash and shows a picture of a redneck woman in a trailer park smoking a cig.

It's strange that she is trying to "fight" for womens rights while at the same time being a bigot towards people living in the south.

Immersion isn't really an issue when a skinny prince can swing around a greatsword faster than his buff friend.
It's just irritating how it's "obvious" fan service, I wouldn't mind but when she starts bending over the car filling the fuel.. "this was obviously implimented to give teenagers excitement."

accent and looks are personal preference.. the real problem here is that she breaks immersion

mechanics tend to be dressed a bit more protectively because their work is dangerous and they tend to have very dirty clothing

that said...

if regalia was an electric vehicule with no oil parts then maybe.. but from what i can tell its a gas using vehicule so its ICE and therefore lots of OIL and dirt and regular problems mechanics have to deal with.

anyways its all moot

yeah i want a more buff noctis and prompto mod.. i am annoyef they lkook like 12 year old boys and their arms are thinner than galdiolus fingers they should barely even be able to lift utensils when eating let alone melee in combat or jump any height period.

Not hypocritical at all, I am merely supporting the artistic freedom of the people who created her, rather than trying to hide everything away and paint the world in a fashion that caters to the moral idealistic views of a few.

There are people who would censor artistic freedom that shows the true colour and reality of the world (fictional or real) because it doesn't line up with their virtue signalling and morals. If these people got their own way then every game will end up a political statement of virtue signalling and creative freedom will be stiffled at every turn.

It's already an issue, thankfully Japan are more resilient to the issue.

I understand what you're saying, I've read up on what EA did to Mass Effect and Dragon Age by making women less beautiful but beautiful and attractive women isn't the same as skanky dressed and bending over the bonnet with a zoomed in car.
Just look at the close ups on MGSV quiets backside, Japan don't care it's just irritating to get fan service thrown in your face every time you play a japanese game.

1- It's not YOUR art, they can paint her as they want.
2- If you're offended by so little, don't play games, don't watch tv, don't listen to music and don't watch youtube. Seriously, this SJW crusade needs to stop. Just let them express what they want and if you don't support it, just don't consume it.

people on reddit and twitter live to catch anything they can find wrong or agree to hate then make it their life until the next thing. cindy, matthew mcconaughey's use of literally, some tattoo on some celebrity that forgot to add and apostrophe (this was a stick on tattoo not a real one). Then there's a loot box thing which i totally hate too but what bothers me is while everyone of going after the new games, older games are still doing it and worse in some cases and no one cares about that, just hating on various garbage that doesn't matter like an npc in a game, an actor's use of a word, the shade of the color of some vechile in a live action movie etc.
