Outside of each DLC giving you a weapon and an outfit that transfers to main game when you complete it, nope, nothing else carries over.
So ... later ... mods. The usual answer. :)
I already unlocked the ability to switch characters. I didn't realize that Prompto already had an smg in his arsenal and all I needed to do is press 4 or use the scroll wheel to switch weapons. It appears that the smg only has 100 bullets, does this replenish automatically or do I need to buy ammo?
I heard about that! It's probably a great weapon for bases, where u can headshot the whole military. But useless for just about everything else.
It replenishes after some time, I usually switched to another weapon and by the time I got back it got full ammmo again.
That's good, wouldn't want to use up all of my ammo on a few skirmishes.
