GeForce Experience
For some reason GeForce Experience can't optimize my game. I tried opening and closing the game and it still doesn't work. How can i fix this?

I have the same issue :x
try deleting the graphicsconfig file , then starting the game, going into the options for display and graphics and changing anything at allt hen backing out of the menu and letting it save. then quit out the game from menu option. have geforcee xperience closed, then wait a few seconds and launch it and go into the game's details again and see if it lets you optimize now. that worked for me. might work for some other people too. It may also help to have it rescan for games.

I tried deleting the graphicsconfig.ini inside FFXV folder inside documents/my games. Deleted that, then started the game, tried to set some options (so game will re-create the config file), then exited the game and geforce experience was able to set it up.

Sadly my geforce experience is a liar though, it keeps telling me I should be able to play on average @1080, but that's definitely impossible for my system.

I had to open the game and change a few graphic options in the menu then apply them and quit the game to allow Geforce Exp. to do its thing. It's not enough to just load and quit the game apparently. Hope this helps.

Its because your documents folder location has been changed. In my case, it was one drive so if you go to your original documents folder you can find the files and configs. All you need to do is to copy and paste.

Thanks! That was exactly my issue also! Nice deduction.

Thank you, this worked for me.
But as you said, GeForce is lying. I get between 45-50 fps on average
