Loud Ear Splitting noise on Arctis 7 Headset fix

I'm posting this here because I searched everywhere and from the demo to the game it nearly made me deaf when it hit. I couldn't find a fix anywhere but was looking for a fix for anotther problem. In games like Tarkov I could never tell the direction fire was coming from so was looking for a way to fix it and it fixed the problem with this game as well. With the Arctis 7, if you go into your playback devices, you will see two different Arctis 7 headsets; one for chat and one for game. Never seen another headset do this but changing your default to the one set for game fixes the sound problems and you get directional again.

I love the headset and recommend it but this is a wierd thing for a company to do and considering it's a gaming headset why on earth make the deafult install set to chat?
