How long would it take to beat the game for a casual.
Not. "Oh it took me 300 hours to complete the game backwards".
You can beat FF7 main story in the same timespan you know :) WHat makes a FF great is all the little things you've to do on the side
The "normal" length of the game, playing on either of the higher 2 difficulties, takes about 40-45 hours with an average amount of side content.
"Full completion" of the plot, all side quests, new added content and DLC episodes (taken from PS4 version, but should be same) is about 65-75 hours.
"Completionist" would be like every recipe, every nonsense DLC item, like getting all the festival rewards and every fishing spot completed was about 100 hours for me.
