Is this a glitch? Creepy statue by Keycatrich Trench.

Fairly early in chapter two of the game there's an ominous looking statue near the entrance of the Keycatrich Trench that has the interactable icon on it but when i approach it i get instantly teleported to the front of the statue a few feet away.

im not see that statue before game end and im just come back for hunt behemoth, so i just dont know how that statue works before u have all 13 arms

I remember walking near this statue, but didn't have this bug hmm... Try re-validating the game files to see if it still happens

Before you have all 13 arms you can still interact with it, but it just says something about it being the statue of the founder king and that it feels powerful or something like that. It shouldn't teleport you away from it like that, but hopefully that's just some minor bug and will be gone next time you go back to it.

Yeah its a glitch, i can remember it in my game it was just a beautiful old statue. At least it didn't happen to me when i did approach it and wanted to know what i can do with it.

its a Glitch, did you install a mod from the reddit forums or are you running Cheat Engine ?
you might wanna re evaluate your files like they said above
also i mention Cheat Engine because some people seem to be fixing some stuff on the reddit mod forums and to test the ground for permanent Guest characters and all costumes, they already got Cor, Aranea, Ravus and Iris working

I didn't install any mods when this occured. after quitting the game and loading it up again later it worked normally. maybe it had to do with the fact that i preloaded the game. i heard some others having issues with that. it almost seemed like it was a story related thing like a mysterious powerful statue that can not be touched.

I just ran into this same issue. To confirm @Valravn’s fix, saving the game, quitting, and reloading resolved the issue for me.
