Thanks :D
There could be a couple reasons for this:
--I'm using Win7, not Win10
--I don't have Steam installed in the Program Files directory, I put it elsewhere.
--(edit-I also play offline/don't use any Steam cloud/sync/other features)
At any rate, while this may not apply to everyone, still good info to know/keep in mind.
Thank you for this information. I have been trying to figure out why Steam Cloud Sync is not working for my save game files and have been trying to do it manually. Both computers run Win 10 but the saved games do not sync across Steam seamlessly like it does my other games. I tried copying the FFXV folders within "My Games" to no avail, however now after copying the saves from the first computer I played on (within My Games folder) into the following directory for me "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\18514590\637650\remote" allowed me to continue my game. Now that i've done this I believe steam cloud is now syncing my games. Not sure why I had to do this to get things going again but at least it is working. Maybe this will help someone else who had the same issue as I did.
