They just populate the world at night like that ... they're not specific quests to take of or anything.
They give like 753 exp if I recall.
Run like hell until you're either the same level or feel confident enough to take them on.
I find them funny to beat and i'm lvl 61 on ps4 pro lol But at low level? Run for it xD
It's doable, it's just resource heavy.
I beat one in the demo a few days ago at around the same level.
It was rough though. Loooots of potions used. Fortunately there was a warp point nearby.
If you have a hunt that's at night (there are a few in the beginning areas) you can camp out a nearby camp, and then rush towards the target. As long as you run out of the aggro range of the deamons that spawn (which is shown by a red circle on the map) you'll be fine.
If you absolutely must fight the ones at the beginning, I suggest bringing Blizzard for the bombs, and constantly pair up with Gladio since the Iron Giants are weak against two handers. Neeever go ham on the iron giants though, cuz they can one-shot you if you're not careful. Pick your openings.
Yup same. Was a fun fight though!
I got my ass handed to me but we survived:

Heh, you were braver than I was. I played it safe and kept my distance for most of the fight, abusing magic.
I beat the Bandersnatch too but I haven't beaten a red giant before.
You can totally kill them from low levels but its pretty tough.
It's also super not worth it aside from just having fun, because the enemies in this game aren't a great source of EXP without expericast.
Just cause you couldn't do it doesn't mean we couldn't.
I also beat the Bandersnatch at around level 11 mind you, it took the entire in game day.

I can't afford the game until the end of the month so I did everything there is to do in the demo, found the two weapons, beat the giant scorpion, Iron giant, and Bandersnatch.
I'll probably not bother with the Red Giant though since he's immune to everything you have at that point.
I know the Bandersnatch gave me around 2.5k at level 11ish.
Gladio gives you like 400-500 something just training though and he's MUCH easier to beat.
