Way to get rid of the black bars?

Get black bars during gameplay etc like a movie, don't totally mind it, but would be nice if I knew how to get rid of them.

Set the resolution to your monitor's native resolution. Sounds like you have it set to the wrong aspect ratio.

I have an ultrawidescreen setup and this happens to me as well i think there is nothing we can do as of right now. Guess the movies were not optimized to run for our screens.

There is no way to change the aspect ratio in game from what I've seen. I game at 16:10 1600P and i have black bars myself - I don't really mind it though.

I planned on getting a 3440.1440 ultrawide. This game doesnt have uw???

Same here. My aspect ratio is 16:10 (2560x1600) and I get black bars.

It's not ideal but I hardly notice it. Hopefully they'll patch in support for it.

I run it on a 1680x1050 monitor, get black bars, my game is ''flaky'' and I am really hoping for a fix. Here's hoping that they don't do like From Software and never fix their fricking game for 16:10 screens >.<

I have an old Samsung monitor 16:9 display so 1920x1200 often, does not fill the whole screen. What I did in FFXV was to change to a lower resolution (whichever) and change it back to 1920x1080 and it worked for me.
