Cant even download the game (help)

For some reason when i start the download it jumps straight to 94% done and when i wait until 100% it stops there and i look in the files and nothing has been download, any way to fix this?

Check steam support in troubleshooting. Might find answer there

try exiting steam and reloading, or reinstalling steam.

Or clear cache in downloads in settings

Same thing has happened to me. I spent 8 hours downloading the game and it got to 100%, but I go to check the folder and it is 0 B. Pretty angry.

I have restarted my PC, logged back into steam and it is still an empty folder. I can't find the game anywhere. What the hell was steam downloading if there is nothing here? I watched it download the 75gb install on the download page myself and It said it had successfully preloaded.

IT might have removed the files for some darn reason. Can you uninstall it?

I have restarted my pc, steam, unistalled steam completely, turned off all firewall ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol and its still not working. why is this even an issue and i really dont want to go to steam because they are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb when it comes to this

Okay so what ive found out was steam actually glitched out. I had the game pre-loaded last night. I come home from work saying its not finished yet so i let it download. The download was wanting to resume where i left off last night instead of completely restarting so i cleared up some space on my ssd and its downloading perfectly fine because the download is in a new location.
