How many times can you fight Omega?

I Killed the Omega in around 30 mins ish, but really want to do the fight again as I really enjoyed it. ^ ^
But when I go back to insomnia, it doesn't spawn again. So is there a way to make it spawn again or is it just a one time thing per save?

I only got to fight it again after doing a chapter select. SE really needs to add Omega as a hunt like the Adamantoise and dungeon bosses.

Only once, like almost all other bosses in game expect Ifrit, Ardyn and these 3 "Shades" of old kings. Omega is not a normal enemy.

Edit: Well, ok chepter selection will also work, but u lost all other progress u made, to this point. NG+ would work also. :p

Thanks for the replies guys! Just really wish Omega could be a repeatable boss in the game without NG+ or wiping all your progress (chapter select)

Well, you can use Chapt. Select at any time to fight him again and not save the game (or just save in a new slot, temporarily), then when done go back to playing your normal save/file.

Oh okay, I thought chapter select will overwrite your current save (not sure why lol, was kinda scared). Thank you for the advice ^ ^

I just had my second attempt a few hours ago using chapter select like people said here and was a 10 min kill.

My first time was a 30 min kill, I used Sword of the father, Axe of the conquerer, bow of the clever and zwill crossblades. Accessories were: founder king's sigil, dark matter bracelet and armiger accelerator. Food buff was "400 attack and 3000 health".
All I did was target the Omega's eye, and use the bow to warp strike, and use sword of the father to deal damage to the eye (around 250 -350 damage per hit), when armiger fills up, use armiger unleashed and deal as much damage as possible without dying, use the "legacy of the lucii" just before Omega turns invulnerable.
Then, switch to prompto and shoot it with the SMG (using the accessory that makes it have infinite bullets). Rinse of repeat. takes around 30 mins.

Second time with the 10 mins kill: all weapons were the same, except i used the "trident of the oracle" instead of bow of the clever and electron instead of the Axe. Accessories was also the same except the founder king's sigil, instead I used the "circlet". For the food buff, I used the mushroom one that increases magic but drastically decreases health, in the end I had 1400 magic stat.
For the fight, I did the same thing, use sword of the father to deal damage to the eye, and then use the normal armiger to damage the eye too. use the electron magic whenever it is off cooldown.
After attacking the eye for a bit, it should pop out, do a cross chain on the eye, and it should do 99k damage if you successfully complete the 10 links. Rinse and repeat. Took 10 mins.

So basically, be alive and Electon a few times since Omega's weak to it. My team can't fight Omega since all I have's a level 1 team. :(

Kind of, Electron does 9999 damage, rather than 99999 damage on the Omega, due to it's high defences I assume. It's the armiger unleashed (250-400 per hit normal attacks, and 3000 to 6000 damage using tech skills) that does most of the damage, or in the second run I had with high magic, it's the cross chain that deals most of the damage (99k, the final hit from the cross chain is a magic attack in this fight)

The Zu Beaks (& some other items too I think) can make the limit break magic, it completely breaks the game.

You want to know what fear is. It is when you got less then half of your health items 2 and a half hrs in this fight and it starts to lock on, rocket launch you. If I ever want to try that fight again I'll do what you guys are saying. Thanks for that

I did it in 5, using bassically the same stuff, except I had 2 magitek V2 and armiger accelerator for acc on Noct
