Aranea and Comrades DLC
1. Afaik you can glitch Aranea into your party in base game, but i can't find info how. She is fully voiced and has interactions at camp etc. which means it's either content for future DLC or removed content. So, is it really possible and how to take her into party? Sometimes she drops from this fancy spaceship, but goes away right after battle. You can glitch her to stay, but he will just stay there.

2. How long is Comrades DLC? I'm aware it's kinda like instanced mmorpg so you can just spam everything, but i mean just how long it takes to do everything available in the game.

Okay, there are two ways to do it, via the glitch and via cheat engine.
The first way is rather lengthy and involves pressing the menu key at a very precise moment.
The second is easier. There's tutorials on both though. Just youtube "aranea permanent" and it should be the top video. As for the cheat engine, just google guides until you find the one that's in russian and english. Author's name is Kami. I'd link both here but I'm unsure if it would get me banned.

She's probably going to be the protagonist of one of this season's DLC episodes.
They had a poll for the console versions a while back, with "Playable Aranea, Cor, and Iris" among the options, so they were likely considering working on them.

Btw i bet future DLCs will be paid right? First 4 were free for PC players, i would be actually pretty mad if i have to buy DLC which gives ONE HOUR of gameplay. Only Comrades is good. At least it seems to be now.

I can always buy it on sale though.

They were only $5 each. A playable character in the main game plus a 1-2 hour campaign for that price isn't bad.
But yes, they will likely be sold separately for owners of the windows/royal editions. I won't buy it until they release a complete edition with both seasons of DLC included.

Actually just use cheat engine, go to the guides tab on the forums (where we currently are) and search "Aranea" and the guide on how to add her (or Cor, or Iris, or Ravus) permanently will show up (it's the one where you can see her in her winter outfit clapping). Follow the instructions and you should be fine.

Yeah if it will be another 1-2 hour dlc i will buy it in some package with other dlcs (legends are saying about episode ardyn) or just on sale. But other characters are playable without dlc, because you can play as them before playing it, or it's just in windows edition.

Quick note, make sure to set steam to offline mode before you boot up cheat engine. I don't think you'll run any risk of a VAC ban as long as you don't play the game online, but it's best to be safe.

VAC is only for specific source games i think.

Yeah I think you're right, but I wouldn't take any risks with any less than being 100% certain. I got way too many games in my library to risk anything.

iirc you needed to own their respective DLC to play as them, whether in their campaign or in the main storyline. Though I'm hearing conflicting accounts about it (Apparently it was enabled in patch 1.19, though a friend claims you needed 1.19 and the respective episode)

You will only get banned if you hook Cheat Engine in an VAC secured game.
Here's a list: http://store.steampowered.com/search/?category2=8
You can't be VAC banned in a game that isn't VAC secured. Also how is a ban in FFXV supposed to look like? If you get VAC banned in a game you still can play offline and on not secured servers.
Also it's pretty common using Cheat Engine not for cheating but for modding.

Comrades can be very long if you want everything done. It's very grindy in nature. To beat Ifrit you probably need around 30+ hours on first run and that's just the story part. There are level 99 trials that are ten times harder which require you to grind a lot to raise your stats to par.

exept the main story, comrades is the better FFXV ^^ kupo

Yep, Bahamut and Ifrit fights are like Dark Souls. Your DMG got nerfed significantly and you struggle to survive the pattern rather than pump stats. Although that's because the challenge fights were built for 4 player coop rather than single like their story counterpart.
