cactar timedquest 100k or more xp with the right food
Epic_Caesura Mar 31, 2018 @ 8:43am
I just waited until the Cactuar Timed Quest, which rolls around fairly often. Completing that's worth 90k-ish, which can be tripled at the nice hotel. Getting to 99 is a joke, but after that it's grindy no matter what you do. It's also not necessary, though -- level 99 is plenty for the endgame challenges.

Yeah but timed quests are once a day and I don't want to wait days lol, it would be nice if I could level up now without waiting and that somehow fast and fun

What type of monsters? I don't want to play years until level 99.

Either go into the deep dungeons or fly to the Area North of the Rock of Ravatogh where the Pitioss Ruins are. Also eat Lasagna al Forno to get 100% XP boost and equip Moogle Charms. You can also use Expericast created by using the debased currency or coin items. Expericast level 96 gives the best Coin/XP rating. Also use it in fights you end fast since the rating at the end of battle also gives you an XP multiplier. Do never rest without the Nixpirience Band at other places than the Hotel in Altissia with the 3x multiplier.

So you don't want to wait, farm, or grind, and you want to be max level right away?

This isn't a difficult game, but you're basically asking for baby mode.
Darkcloud Mar 31, 2018 @ 11:36am
By the way I got to level 99 before chapter 8 mostly by only tallying XP at the 2x XP inn most of the time, eating the Super Meat Sandwich with 50% XP bonus for some of the Quests and equipping Moogle Charms at the times I got them.

Otherwise I just played the game normaly without grinding or much use of Expericast. Just by resting at the 2x (or better the 3x XP) Inn you get enough bonus XP to stay way ahead of the quest Levels.

Only level 100-120 require more planning if you want to get them without actively grinding for them.

I didn't say that. But I don't want to kill the same enemy for weeks or do boring ♥♥♥♥.

I wish there would be a game were are thousand different FUN ways to level up. Why does it have to be tedious, boring and stretched over weeks everytime.

So just playing the game is tedious and boring? Why level to 99 in such a game then?

You can also just repeat the cacutar hunt on the day it happens as much as you want. You just don't get the QP more than once.

What "weeks"? You were literally told earlier in this thread how to hit 99 in a couple of hours. You couldn't wait for a regular, common daily quest to show up.

you gain exp points by training at camp, fishing, killing anything, doing side quests, doing main quests, riding chocobo, winning chocobo races, driving the car, and i'm sure i missed something but the point is you earn exp by PLAYING THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME not being handed lvl 99 on day 2. baby.

Craft expericast magic, eat the 100% exp food from altissia, equip moogle charms on all characters or as many as you can.

There is no non-tedious way to get maxed level, once you hit 99 your next level requirements are over 1m exp each.

If you start a new game plus you should be able to get extra moogle charms so you can equip 2 on each character (I think you get 4 per game). Then either do the cactuar quests with the 100% exp food and/or cast a ton of expericast magic.

Personally I would recommend waiting to get all the moogle charms then start grinding to max level if you want. Use the niexperience ring to not level up in the new game plus at all when you rest that way you save up all the exp from quests, killing, hunts etc..

Or if you don't want to actually play the game, cheat and make yourself max level.

if you want to grind, the malboros near the pitioss dungeon , 2 of them spawn at the same time, and theres a camp right near it so u can replenish food, get the 100% xp food and u make 200k xp in 2 or 3 respawns

besides that , i only know of cactuar farming, personally i did the cactuar farming tho to lv 101 , im 107 right now, those 6 lvs i got from the post end game dungeons, the menace ones, and those i run with the 100% crit food , mobs tend to take too long to die with xp food , with 100% crit food i rollover everything in there lol ... armiger unleashed with full crit is even more op than normal armiger unleashed :3
