Accessories is more flexible for defense/offense considerations as well as keeping those AP bonus accessories on if you wanted. So to me 3 slots on the bros = being able to put one party-useful thing on them without giving up much for their stats.
Edit: like camera strap on Prompto, or those Ignis-only accessories.
I'm currently lvl 89 and doing the menace dungeons. What's the best way to farm AP?
Repeat for 2 hours and I maxed everything except 2 333 skills and a 999 one. Gets a bit boring after a while, but like the Monsters Justice 5 if you do it for a while and then go do something else it's not too bad.
Like this only go south from Hammerhead into the mountain area, not the Giant mountain but the one right before it. Go inside that and there's a better spot in there.
Also use the Shield of the Just or whatever it's called to kill multiple at once.
you can find a perfect spot in those mountains where they'll just keep coming and you won't have to run around
