Fiend of the Fallgrove

Ok, I hate this hunt. Long story short, I went into the tower the first time, killed the normal Jabberwock, no problem. I had to go down two of the cube elevator things. Cool.

Now, with this Fiend of the Fallgrove hunt, I've gone down every single elevator - all are checked. When I first started going down, there was just Flans and a giant. Every time I went down, there was an extra giant. NOW there's 3 giants and a naga thing. This is stupid. Each run is sapping my items. Am I supposed to do them in a specific order? After doing this for about an hour and a half, I noticed that the elevator cubes have little broken walls next to them - 1, 2, 3 and 4. I've been at it so long that I had to go back and camp, but I'm going to go back in tomorrow.

Am I missing something? The experience is great, but I'm about to start stabbing things if I can't get back down.

One of them leads you to a secret path, it should be the same as the one you took to get to the jabberwock in the first place. Havent done the hunt youre talking about, but every other boss hunt has been in the same room.

Yeah, if you look at the map of the "cube labyrinth" floor, you want to head over the to the bottom/middle right. If you take the other path, you just end up on the floor below with the giants. It's nothing special -- it's the same path you took the first time you got to the boss room.

Just use death on the flans to instantly get rid of them.

Also it's somewhat randomized how many you have to do before the right path unlocks but it's either the NW or SW panel.

You'll reach a fork eventually when you pick the right one, when you do, look down at the floor. The correct path from there will have a circle on it.

Continue onward to reach the Jabberwock.

I'm actually level 60 and haven't gone past the part where you leave the first continent / island thing. I've obsessively been doing all the hunts / quests before moving on. xD

Just look it up, the gist of it is that when you get to the fork in the road go straight ahead.
Btw, I accidentally crashed into a lamp post when trying to take off to save time on my journey back to the tipster. Had to do the whole thing over again. Thanks auto save.
