How to summon a Chocobo?

When you're far enough in the story, you'll be told how to ride a Chocobo. To have fights happen in turns instead of real-time, set "Wait Mode" for combat in the options.

Also, wait mode only works when you're not moving. Then you hold a button to use Libra; on a controller it's the Right Bumper, I think. It's in the tutorials in case you're still confused

They did say something bebore i rode a chocobo but ignored it and there is no where that tells me how to summon it, not online or in menu jusy consuel comands that arn't useful.

You need to rent the Chocobo first and then you can summon them from the menu where you use potions etc. but in the next submenu.

If you're using a controller, press Right Trigger. Then use right/left on the directional pad until you see the option to call a chocobo. You have to refer to your keybindings for keyboard and mouse controls, since I don't use them
