Altissia crash
Anyone else crashing when entering Altissia? game worked fine before reaching this point now no matter what i can't seen to get past it. Even skipping the boat dialogue doesn't seem to help.
I7-7000k, 16gb Ram, GTX 1080.

works fine i've just been running round Altissia trading coins for a ribbon

Never had a crash in that city with 4790K, 32GB DDR3 RAM and 1080 GTX but granted I kept my game capped at 30fps throughout the whole game and using Special K mod so I don't know what could be causing the crash.

Same here, i get to the screen that says Altissa, City on the Sea-Gain Entry to Altissa then BAM! Freezes with music still playing. Tried it mutliple times, same thing. i have the game running on lowest settings and i have a pretty good pc. I dont get it?!

Thanks for the ini-Advice. Your settings (alone) didn't work for me. What helped in the end was changing MaxFramerate from 60 to 30.

Or better yet, patched... Nier Automata got a bunch of fixes years after it released in the state it did, it sucks that XV was just abandonded as soon as the last DLC dropped.

At least this thread was here with PureSilence's handy quick fix. Doing that and setting the framerate to 30 fixed it for me. :2016bee:
