Question about Military Bases
So im not sure whats going on. I'm trying to get into a few of the military bases specifically the base with the Sniper you can get is i forgot the game. Anyways ive done a few already but cant figure out how to unlock the others. I did all of them on PS4 and i cant trigger these anymore i use to walk to the towers and stuff then it starts the mission. Im not sure if i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ myself because i beat the game already and going back to finish stuff. Anyways idk if i did something or if its a bug and im screwd. Anyone has any suggestions id apreciate it.

The locked bases need a quest to open, and the quest trigger isn't always near the base. For example, Formuth Garrison requires that you see the flying base go by down by three canyons, for example.

And actually, aren't the others part of the mission sequence, and not missable?

If you drive the Regalia, there's a chance you'll run into a flying fortress. Iirc, it's called "Formouth Garrison" and that's the only side quest that tells you to clear it, the other 2 bases (Duscae & Cleide) are explored thru the main quest.

If you walk around the three canyons area (or drive past it), you've got a decent chance of seeing the flying fortress that triggers the garrison quest. To be clear, this has nothing to do with you flying around in the Regalia. You just need to see a CS of the flying fortress overhead, and the quest unlocks.
