Random freezing

Any one game freezIng randomly resulting in have to force close the game?

i get this within 10 minutes of starting the game... have you found a fix yet ZeroSynk?

Every 20mins or so my screen just goes grey and I have to force close. All settings off/lowest.

Seems this was only happening in fullscreen after pressing Alt+Enter I've not had any issues.

have the same issues tryed every setting low/medium/high/max doesnt matter what i do - full screen non full screen - fix it

for me it happened but i looked on reddit and seen some people get no crashes and freezes with steam overlay disabled on ffxv and it worked for me you should try it

someone did a comparison of the pirated and steam version of FF15. The pirated version ran much better and loaded much faster and didn't freeze up or loose frame rates.

But the cucks on here are so pathetic they will continue to defend Denuvo.

I get crashes when my XMP is enabled. I never had crashed before. I tried to enable it, cause I was curious about performance but not stable while using it. Go try disabling it. I had not a single crash through my entire playtime and constant 60 FPS without any stutters or similar.

Even though this thread is quite old I'll resurrect it for a quick update. If the game still freezes for you after disabling steam overlay, get special K FFXV fix from: here.
After you install it, set texture cache to 2GB. This should help with the memory leak that causes freezes to many people.

Best to use Borderless instead of Full Screen .. because Full Screen cause the frozen and lagging or something.....Borderless run fine without a problem!
