You can play mouse and keyboard, but the controls are a tad wonky that way in my opinion. I'm just going to use my old 360 controller, worked fine with the demo.

Plays absolutely fine with m&kb except when it comes to UI navigation, I really hope they add cursor support for that.

i played the demo with keyboard and mouse, i liked that better. i guess its a choice your gunna have to make after trying both

mouse + keyboard is for scrubs, lol. x and y for equipment tabs topkek.

But i have to say, there are SOME games where a controller is better

Seemed to work for the demo. But you're probably going to have a bad time if you are the type to stick with defaults. It still has a few quirks where one keybind does multiple things and sometimes not the thing you want, but at least you won't accidentally waste time jumping when you meant to pick an item off the floor.

I usually prefer KB+M but for certain games and genres the controller is superior by far, this is probably one of those situations.
