I checked my data and it seems to have saved it to-
Documents/My Games/Final Fantasy XV Playable Demo/Steam/bunch of random numbers/savestorage/system
When the full thing is out I guess copy that file to the main game's save location and bam.
Because they were too lazy to implement a save transfer system. It's been confirmed that if you do it manually it works.
There could be other things tied to the save file as well, and it may be why they discouraged it to begin with, more testing is needed, and good luck.
The guy on Chapter 11 now used the demo save and hasn't had any issues. The DLC would pop into games in progress if you bought it later on the PS4. If it doesn't load into the PC version the same way it comes down to valuing cheat codes and cosmetics over time saved, and if you care that much about the former why play it to begin with?
Good point and thanks, i was looking for that info. So i can play some FF XV right now.
