When will square drop the ridiculous hair styles?

The better the graphics get, the more ridiculous the emo hero squads look. FF7's cloud had about 4 cubes that made up his body - the hair didnt detract. Now I can't look at these characters without laughing. Maybe im just getting old

I hope a mod lets us use end-game Noctis' hair, it looks better on him i think.

The only hair I find completely silly is Ignis, because of the straight up wall in front as if even a pound of hair gel could keep it up there during intense combats. Although when raining or in wind even Ignis' hair falls back and becomes a big mess, which is adorable. :P

Edit: if you beat Ignis DLC you get a new outfit that changes his main-game hair to be like in the DLC, when he wears it. Which is a bit more conventional perhaps.

The back of Noct's head just looks like he cut/hacks it himself unevenly and never brushes it when he wakes up, ever. Anyway ... Noct/Iggy/Prompto are very poster j-pop or k-pop or anime styled but eh - it's fantasy. I kind of like it, it seems fitting somehow.
