When will square drop the ridiculous hair styles?

The better the graphics get, the more ridiculous the emo hero squads look. FF7's cloud had about 4 cubes that made up his body - the hair didnt detract. Now I can't look at these characters without laughing. Maybe im just getting old

It would make for an interesting approach to an eastern rpg, but no there is plenty of middle ground between that and making their hair look like a car spoiler.

Even in Japan they make fun of the new FF´s introvert hairstyles.

Don´t see any problem with classic FFVII, for its time and asthetics, it did a pretty good job. However that was before Sqare decided to turn Cloud´s spiky hair into another emo style of theirs with the remake. FF15 Noctis emo-hair all over the place now.

Of the characters from FF10 to FF15, Noctis' hair seems rather... well, normal, in comparison anyway... Some pretty peculiar hairstyles in all the FF games, Noctis' hair never even registered with me as being outlandish in comparison

I dunno, I like how obnoxiously dumb they look. I am not a fan of anime or even FF, but the total idiocy of FF XV had me waiting for PC port ever since I saw the console gameplay.

Actaully you can, there were a small airship(Blimp) travel service at South Korea flys to Japen.

Tip for future: Don't take the jRPG's seriously. They are meant to be a bit of everything along with a... detachment from reality.

Believe me, i'm not taking them seriously. :D

But for me the suspension of disbelief is being detracted from when they strive for photorealism in their character design, but then plop these hair pomade skyscrapers on top of their heads.

I'm not knocking the game itself. I wouldn't know as I don't own this or intend to own. Ju-st striking conversation :)

Hey I grew up loving games like chrono trigger and secret of mana. Nothing about them makes me cringe to this day. Their cartoony character design matched their art aesthetic and I find they nicely compliment eachother. Just my opinion and im sure part of that is nostalgia. I'm sure there are youths relatively going through the same thing as I did with these games today.

I mean, it's a real hairstyle, it's just only emo teenagers have it lol.
