Can you trigger Ansel w/controller
And if you can, what is the button combo for it?
I've been using the keyboard Alt+F2 but since I like using the controller it'd be a lot less awkward if I could trigger Ansel with it as well. If not ... that's all right. Just thought I'd inquire. :)

Yes you can. But you're basically going to need to enable configuration for your pad in Steam and then bind the Ansel keyboard shortcut to one of the buttons.

I'd recommend putting it as a double-tap or long-press on one of the dpad directions or the start/back so you can still keep the normal button maps in place and not activate it by accident so easily.

I'm guessing this has to be done/used while in Big Picture? If so I'll probably stick to KB. I don't like Big Picture very much.

Just went back to test for you - you can do it in desktop mode without going into BPM. Just right-click the game in your list and choose "Edit Seam Controller Configuration". It'll bring up a config window where you can change the mapping right there and should take effect when you launch from the gamelist in desktop as well.

I thank you for your effort. :)
But while in Offline mode if I r-click on the demo title all I see is this: https://i.imgur.com/TmANJwG.jpg

Despite having it for over 9 years, I'm not very savvy re: Steam features/how to use Steam. I just d/l, install, go offline, play. I'm using a wireless xbox-pc controller with some driver installed that hubby gave me a long time ago and the game picked it up without me having to configure anything in Steam at all.

Edit: anyway, it's ok. I'll look around and try to figure it out, thanks again.

There's nothing wrong with unfamiliarity at all. For example, trying to do anything on Gal In A Waistcoat's Mac leaves me absolutely flummoxed (the French keyboard layout doesn't help either :p )

What you might need to do first is click Steam on the toolbar, go into the settings and head down to the Controller tab. You should see a box marked 'General Controller Settings'. Once you click that, it'll open up a window where you should see a bunch of checkboxes. You'll need to turn on the configuration support option for whichever controller you're using (XB/PS4/other).

After that, the option to change the controller config should appear just under 'Set Categories' on the right-click context menu.

Sorry I didn't think of making sure to tell you about that part of the process first (and for taking nearly an hour to realise you'd replied).
