Platinum Demo

Consoles got a demo I believe called Final Fantasy 15 Platinum Demo, with an original story and some very minor carry over to full game features such as naming carbuncle. Is this story included in the pc demo in any way? From what I see, it is not. I would really enjoy being able to play through this cool looking original story as well as not miss out on any carry over to full game features. Anyone have any info on this?

The platinum demo isn't available to pc and probably never will unfortunately
The demo is the first chapter of the game with sidequests disabled and it doesn't carry over to the full game

Don't worry, the Platinum Demo had very little in terms of actual story, it's basically Noct dreaming after being knocked out cold with Carbuncle giving you a basic tutorial. It's got a bunch of engine show off style things in it, but you're not really missing anything story wise by not playing it.

In the PS4 they give you a summon if you've played the demo :c

I think they give you the summon either way as long as you are playing on easy. On normal you can't use the Carbuncle summon since it is makes losing very hard, even if you beat the demo.

Story content isn't really there is just a dream, so it doesn't influence the over all story. The combat was different and at least to me didn't feel as nice, I think this demo is better overall since it actually reflects how the game plays.
