Pc standard quality vs PS4?

To those who have played this on Ps4, do you think standard quality on pc looks a lot better than ps4, or roughly the same? I'm debating wether I might get this on pc. It seems to look cleaner to me, a little less blur, more grass. I wonder if there will be more cars and such on the roads?

One of the added bonus to PC is you can also use custom shaders, i took this on standard quality for you, it's only slightly sharpened and slightly higher color, can be customized heavyly, you can see the ground is clearer and the bushes in the background and the rock wall. its hard to get a good comparison but view over long distances just looks so much clearer, i hope that depth of field can be turned off in options because it makes me feel like i need glasses in game. it's using reshade btw with lumisharp and vibrance, no fps loss.

Thank you for doing that. That's pretty neat! And I agree about depth of field. Motion blur also. I always turn those 2 things off right away.

Consoles use a mix of mostly low settings and some special engine modifications from the devs to make it run better on them. Even if you play the game on low it will be a lot better because it will run at true 1080p and with a decent framerate and better graphics overall.

ps4 slim used to run this game at <25 fps and it was my first full priced game on my ps4 -_- the experience was horrible. the textures seemed blurry, the ground textures were pretty bad. I seriously thought my ps4 has issues. then I ran some other games like uc4, kof and tlou and all ran as they should. After comparing my in game performance with DIGITAL FOUNDRY's FFXV analysis video, I soon realized the game had frame pacing and fps both issues at that time. SO ended up seling the console after only 2.5 months and literally wasted 55 usd behind the game. Fk this

Hopefully gtx 1060/480 owners will be able to run this at much better quality (in terms of fps at least) than ps4 pro

well a game of that size, if the game is on disc or hard disk, they're even slower than 7200rpm drive. i can just see it having stuttering or having to run lower textures when its having to load something new because just how big the game is and how far the data is spread out it is over physical/mechanical media. a game this size will benefit greatly on SSD, not just the normal benifits but the negative effects of a hard drive regulally loading huge data spread over the disk compared to a small game with data much closer together.

Ps4 pro owner here, it seems the console version has much better anti-aliasing quality than PC, almost no jaggies, even in lite mode. Visual wise, PC standard setting is a match for PS4.

Note that this was made months ago so they may have made even more improvements graphics-wise. PC version stands out by far.

The demo runs like a dream for me at Standard settings @ 1080p. Plus I have a few things like high quality assets turned up. Looks fantastic, much less blurry than ps4. Solid 30fps across the board. I'm running an Rx 560 4gb, i5 4460 with 12 gb's ram. Runs better than final fantasy xii did for me. Will definitely be picking up this pc version next week. I had no idea I would be able to run this game half this well. Square has done an amazing job with this port.
