Well 30fps is fine with me, as long as it runs without stutters and at medium settings at least ( with all the fancy nvidia things off of course ). The thing is, I bought the PC I have right now a year back, the same time as I bought FF XV thinking it would run the game ok and it did not. I guess the 8 go ram was the problem because the stutters every 3 seconds is unbrearable.
1080p medium yes. 60 fps is not such a priority however. And the pc I have right now is a laptop, so no upgrading possible. I'de like to buy a desktop for this reason but I don't have enough knowloedge in computers to build it myself and if I buy a complete one, it's probably gonna have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ parts that I'll have to replace anyway, like the wifi card or something. Still gonna have to for those type of situation.
I have an RTX 2070 gfx card, and a Xeon e5 v3 processor, with 16GB of RAM and SSDs, and there are still momentary pauses, and definite framerate drops (never below 30 though), and there are specific areas that run like a slideshow (a known issue). So no, I don't think the problem was your RAM, this game basically doesn't touch RAM, it mostly uses Pagefile for some ungodly reason (make sure you read up on how to increase that on your machine before trying to play it, make sure that you have more than 8GB of RAM, and more than 16GB of Pagefile). There's also a noticable memoryleak, so more is better for both RAM and Pagefile (both creep up over time).

Ok, thanks for helping me understand how this game works. I've read a bit about what could cause bad performances to try and fix it, and there's a lot of reasons it seems.
Thanks for your answers, that gives me a better idea on what to look for.
