Crestholm Reservoir big yellow dot?
What's the big yellow dot on this fishing spot? All guides suggests there are only 2 fish there: a small blue dot (horned bluegill) and a big blue dot (dawn lucian carp). But I see this one particular dot everytime I go there, both day and night, rainy or not.

I've tried using every lure I got at my disposal (everything you can have by chapter 3) but nothing drew the interest of this one.

Anyone knows what is it and how to get it?

My memory is that the Carp in general do not like to bite frequently, even if you're using a favored (or in some cases, the only) lure. The RNG on them biting seems somewhat low overall, then how long it takes to reel them in.

Also, looking it up, I found one site that claims it's actually the Dawn Lucian, and another site claiming both plain Lucian and the Dawn can spawn, so you could try a recommended lure for that one as well (one of the Hot Breathers I think, but it's been ages).

Lucian Carp, one of the Fatal Roulettes IIRC. I think there's one fish shop that sells it in the grassy green main world area, but I forget where.

One of those huge hitpoint fish. Decent rod/reel/line desired, don't have to be max/tops tho, just patient.

regular Lucian Carp is said to be found in Saxham Reservoir. Considering that the yellow dot on Crestholm is that the fish lost its way, I possess every fatal roullette lures and the best reel/rod availables (the DLC ones), the guides say to use Ahriman for it, but I still get not even a single f*** from the fish...

Will try again tonight anyway

You were right! Sorry it took a while to answer... it seems the red bar is not 100% guaranteed even if you have the right lure. You must keep casting until the fish gets interested.

I got the yellow dot and it was indeed a Lucian Carp. And also the blue one (Dawn Lucian Carp). Thanks!
