Super Sonic + other DLC unusable via library sharing
While using this account to play SF from another's shared library, I can play the base game as well as use the Episode Shadow and Sega Pack DLC fine, but Super Sonic and the other 3 DLC are not usable and do not show in my DLC list like the first 2 items. Attempting to download Super Sonic from its store page with this account only launches the game but does not make it available to me in game. What is going wrong?

This is unbelievable! Hahaha, what time and age we live in. We have awesome features like Family Share which allows people to access other's library without having to access their accounts. Meanwhile, the same feature forbids them to access free DLC that we have NO WAY to pay for it. I'm not sure who's fault is, SEGA's for not putting Super Sonic in the base game or Valve's for not letting Family Share play an unpayable DLC. LMAO.

Jeez okay. That leaves me wondering how the other 2 are working.
I'll test it out in the week-end.

Okay, so there may be a workaround in the description of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCxgdPq60go . Given its nature, I recommend not attesting to its success or failure publicly. Pretty ridiculous that it's come to this.

@ricardo_the_player: It's Steam's/Valve's fault unfortunately. Which means it's a harder problem to solve, and it will affect all free DLC for all games that are Family Shared for the one being shared to. Unless it seems like if it's pre-order DLC? Then that gets shared...for some reason.

I have a thread here if anyone wants to participate in the discussion, sign the petition, and even try a potential workaround suggested by @DarkStarSword. It has worked on a couple games, and not on others.

If anyone reading this does try their fix for any game I don't have listed. Please let me know and I'll add it to the list on that thread. That way people can at a glance know if it works or not.

Here's hoping it gets fixed at some point.
