I mean don't get me wrong, people would probably want that, but in all honesty, you can mod Sonic Generations to have all 8 areas in Sonic Colors. And they're even better because they're all the same act, no level splitting and whatnot.
If anything, we need a Steam PC port of Sonic R, Sonic Heroes, Shadow The Hedgehog, Sonic Riders, Sonic Unleashed, & even Knuckles Chaotix.
It's easier to port the day stages from Unleashed than the Wisps from Colours because of how the game worked.
Sega could put every Sega PC Sonic game (except Mega Collection for obvious reasons) but it would probably take them too much time and money to make it compatible with newer OS to care about that (especially since several games you mentionned aren't that great)
Not sure, but I'm glad Lost World is ported to Steam. I could at least give it a try one of these days to see whether I like it or not.
And true, but the levels are still beatable without the Wisps at the very least. Aquarium Park can still be played in it's better glory. And if nothing else, the few wisps that are included in Sonic Generations can still be used.
And Sega doesn't have to be the only people to port the game to PC. P-06 is doing pretty fine on its own for the most part. Sure, we might not see it on Steam sadly, but there's always that at the very least. Luckily, I'm able to own a PC copy of Sonic R & Sonic Heroes, but it's a shame that those two, plus the other four I mentioned don't have PC ports.
It would require some coding, but it might actually be doable with the right people. Imagine all 3 Rush games + Chronicles on PC, that would be awesome, to me at least.
