Also I did ask about specs regarding MGS4, I kind of doubt a mid-range PC is capable of playing that one.
And for Sonic Unleashed, well aside from the game still being in an unplayable state, it would require a very beefy CPU, like a third gen Ryzen clocked to 4Ghz to get good results. Really for Unleashed, you're better with Xenia, it relies more on the GPU but at least most mid-range PC's are capable of performing better than 30fps which is already better than on console.
You asked for specs;
1060 GTX 6gb
16gb ram
Ryzen 7 3800x 3.9 ghz no OC
Mid-Range. Just enough to be ahead of next-gen with a new graphics card. The Ryzen was a recent upgrade. Before that it was a 1400 and still hit ~55-60fps on SOTC and perfect hardware accurate 30fps with the mod off.
MGS4 is variable but is in line with every youtube demo I've seen of it, low to high-end. Lowest it goes is about 24-28 fps and those are for moments..generally it maintains the 30 and most often sits in the 40s. Identical to the console version more or less. Cutscenes usually 50-60fps. I'm at the shadow moses wolf boss. I'm sure when Raiden shows up the splitscreen will tank it, but so did the actual PS3 during that part.
edit: ok it tanked on the flying boss in the clock tower, and a bit during the on rails before that.
Yeah, your CPU is actually pretty high end so RPCS3 shouldn't be a problem to you.
The only thing really mid-range about your specs are the GPU and Ram.
Lots of people don't have CPU's like that so with RPCS3 they would be out of luck.
Anyway, nice build you have.
