The game did have a PC version at one time. Just not a steam one. Porting the old PC version would probably be the easiest way to have it. I mean I'd buy it but personally i both love that game (for the charm and good ideas it had) but hated the gameplay... so janky and that casino level ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my anal hole so many times

I would buy it in steam right now if it was in steam because it's my favorite Sonic game where I played all 99 save games at Ps2, a CD PC port is really not difficult

And with a lot of bug fixes to make it equivalent to the Gamecube version.

Why those versions in particular? The gamecube version is gameplay identical, but it runs better, and looks better.

i was never a fan of gamecube, played more than 300 hours and had all 99 scores 100% playing on the ps2, i cant judge the gamecube version

The game is identical to PS2, and if they ported the gamecube version you could still use a playstation controller. The only thing the gamecube version has better is a 60 fps instead of 30, and improved shadows and character models.
