You can do this by searching for Device Manager in the windows search thing and opening that. Then click on "Sound, video, and game controllers", then "Realtek Audio". Go to the "Driver" tab and click "Update Driver". For me, it updated the driver and had me restart my computer, then when it booted back up I ran the game and it had sound!
Hopefully this helps someone if they are having the same problem. If it doesn't and you can't find a solution that works, you can contact Sega's customer support at https://support.sega.co.uk/hc/en-us/requests/new . Be warned though, while they were very polite and tried to be helpful, they were not very helpful for my problem and I ended up figuring it out by myself first.
I found the solution was to go into the PC's sound settings, and turn on Spatial Sound (to Windows Sonic for Headphones) (...I know, kinda ironic, huh?)
That fixed my sound issue.
This game seems to want to be in surround sound. So, maybe there's a setting that can help you?
I don't know if that helps, but it's worth looking at.
