Basically, Eggman Nega (Eggman from another dimension, the same dimension Blaze teleported to at the end of Sonic 06, hence their appearances in Sonic Rush) is trying to turn Sonic's world into a card, which would cause Sonic's world's future (aka Silver's present) to not exist, so Silver tries to stop him.
