My only criticism for some of those other tracks is the kind of synths their using really. Me being used to the jazzy swing or rocking guitars of earlier titles is what's brought that up though, I really like electronic music I just think a different kind of sound could be used for some tracks. Impressed with the overall variety so far though and the orchestral score sounds awesome. To reiterate however, Infinite's rap rock/metal theme has taken top spot for me so far... Jun Senoue is nothing short of a legend.
When I'll hear more of Supporting me, it'll probably also go to the good category.
I won't say that Sonic must be rock only, he had his fair share of different genres over the years, but the music in Forces so far is meh.
I get that. Most tracks aren't brilliant, the sound direction feels like it lacks a definite direction. I like how it's like SA2 where each playable character has a musical style, but the chosen genres could do with some work, or maybe the instrumentation just needs changing. Nonetheless, maybe stuff will change once we get to release but I wouldn't hold out on it.
Fairs. I should clarify that the changing stuff was based on something I said ages ago and forgot to mention about the game. Everything we've seen of the game so far (for what reason I don't know) seems to be running off a demo build that hasn't changed save for the levels in it (which were unlocked as opposed to added apparently) since earlier this year when the first gameplay was shown off. While I'm unsure, I have this strange feeling that what we've been seeing isn't exactly the finished product which is the only reason I'd incite any kind of change. You're right in saying that changing fundamentals this far from release would be a nightmare of sorts or just plain implausible without a delay.
