What remains after starting a new Game

Since i choosed for the first time the "Normal" Mode, my time for beating a level wont be recorded, therefore i cant fulfull the Achievement "Friendly Competition."

Now the question is, what remains of my achieved Whispons / Avatar Clothing when i start a new game or will be everything deleted & i literally start from all over again?

I thought it said that you can change whenever you want the difficulty, no ?

That you mentioned it, i checked the Manual & in the Options Menu under Gameplay you can switch between normal & hard ^^.

Nothing lost.
