Sonic Boom Fire & Ice did better than Sonic Forces

There weren't many people who played Fire & Ice, and those that did saw it as a average platformer. Nothing more, nothing less.

But Sonic Forces was either seen as mediocre or completely awful in every way.

Now I've played both games and I don't need to tell you which one I think is better. But the internet would say otherwise.

I really don't get it. It's like the internet collectively decided to sacrifice Forces to the blood gods.

I didn't give any other Sonic game on the 3DS a fair shake after the awful version of Lost World on the system. That may not be fair, but after hearing so much praise for the portable version, and trying to play that game while holding 'R' the whole time + glitchy gyro controls was enough to return it.

That's because a lot of people didn't give an F about anything Sonic Boom related, specially players from the original games.
