more levels with better level design, meaning longer game length. More story, without throwing in a character just to connect the game with another one (Classic Sonic in Forces).

Those are two ideas that come to mind right now.

Good level design, good controls, optional playable characters, good soundtrack, and there you go.

Would like to see a world that's more open but still be objective-based. Gameplay-wise I think using the Adventure formula as a foundation & improving upon it would be nice to see. Of course I only think this sounds nice on paper, executing it would be a whole different story.

Shadow The Hedgehog is calling you, then again that has a guest appearance of Sonic.

Yes, this should be the last time Classic Sonic is in forces so we can focus on Modern. All Classic Games should be like Mania.

Is it hard to have Tails/Knuckles do Sonic Stages, but have them maybe be allowed to go through different paths? Or maybe like Sonic Adventure where they have their own stages. I don't see many people complain about SA1 Tails and Knuckles stages.

Adventure 3, with a deeper, darker, bigger plot than the rest of the series combined.

Sonic Advance series did it right, and so did Mania. I had no problem with how Sonic Adventure 2 did it, but again, they weren't optional, they were required in order to beat the game, and some people disliked that.

It doesn't really matter to me that much, but if Shadow is playable, then my fun factor increases quite a lot somehow.

Just because it's called SA3, doesn't mean it will be good...

That being said, I'd like a game like Adventure or at LEAST a 3D Sonic game where I can play as Tails and Knuckles again. I'm even surprised that we can play as Shadow in this game.

We can only dream.

If they could make another game which controlled like SA2, that'd be great. I'd rather have full control over my character in 3D environment than boosting.

make a 3d open world sonic game.

But Sonic '06 is over 10 years old.

Yes, but in a 3D perspective... imo the adventure games (and Heroes too) did it right. I didn't mind that I had to play through each characters levels to beat the game. That's just me though. Unleashed, Colors, Generations and now Forces are fun too, but I don't like how the characters just... became apart of the background. It's like playing a DBZ fighting game and only being allowed to play Goku, but not Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, or Krillin.

This might piss some people off, but SA1 is actually my favorite Sonic game ever. Yes, the game is old and dated now, that doesn't make it any less fun than when I first played it last year on Steam. I even bought myself a Dreamcast and SA1 to have the original 1998 experience and it's still fun imo.

I also don't mind SA2, but putting Tails in a mech suit and nerfing Knuckles Master Emerald Crystal detection kinda killed the experience for me. Plus no hub worlds ;-;

You are just flat out wrong.

Calling it Sonic Adventures 3 will make it objectively the best game ever made because nOsTaLgIa.
