Switching avatar race

Hi guys,

I got my 3 gold medals with the cat after the level 21 (yay) but i'd like to change the race of the avatar and the gender. How can i do that ? Do I have to sart a new game on the start screen ? If so will I loose all my progression ?

Also, i unlocked piece of clothes that are girly (like shoes with bow). Does the male avatar have the same or is there an equivalent and if so, will it switch if i change my avatar gender or do i have to unlock it

Beat stage 30, and you can make more avatars.

All clothing can be worn by any avatar.

You can't change your current Avatar's gender and species, but you can make over 12 new ones after you beat the final boss, each of which you can decide species and gender during creation like your first one.
As said by ShootingStarz, none of the clothing is species or gender-locked, so can be worn by any Avatar, regardless of gender and/or species.
