Game not opening FIX

Hi, for all you having trouble opening the game (like says "running" and then nothing or the screen turns black), this is what worked for me:

1# Find where your game is installed. Normally it should be on Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steammapps > common > Sonic Froces

2# Go to savedata.

3# Delete the "GraphicsConfig" text document.

4# Open the game on steam, it might take a while to start up the first time and you might need to restart steam for the change to take effect.

5# Enjoy!

If you still don't find where is your game located, right click the game on your steam library, choose "properties" and under Local files select "browse local files"

Problem, There is no "GraphicsConfig" at all in my "savedata" folder.

Same as the last person,
I didn't have a file at all in that folder. I found another fix earlier that explained how to put on in there but that didn't work either. So many forums have fixes but none of them work.
Thanks still to Pampa Zapp for making this one very organized but it didn't help with this issue for some people including me.

hi how do i continue this cause i went to steam steam apps common sonic forces but i dont have a save option button because my game never launchs so how do i continue to get it to launch

Not even kidding the game seems to not open if your system can't handle running the game. I was trying to play on a 10 year old laptop and the game would not open despite multiple efforts to fix it. I recently got a newer beefier computer and it opens the game just fine.
