Adding equipment to saves

I’ve added BTA:3062 and I’ve tired of hunting for the best gear. The Save Editor from Nexus Mods does allow you to change what’s in your inventory. I’ve tried writing in the weapons and equipment that I want but it never carries through and shows up when I reload a save. I really want to use the C3 networks against clan opponents and hopefully shred them. I’d be fine just adding 1 of everything but the instructions for a bulk add are confusing no that I’ve modded the game. Any help would be appreciated.

ok the save editor bulk edit mode requires you to know a lot more about the game than most people really want to know, also it requires you to create a CSV file that contains the full list of the things you want in a very strict format.

Well fudge....is there a way to just add a handful of items? Or would it be easier to just modify a shop on a specific planet to just carry everything?

If you need to see the format just do an export of your inventory it will be in the cab format, then just add your items and bulk import that

Open a save you want to edit. Click on export to file. Save file. Open created .csv file and look around to find proper format. For example of you want to add Assassin 21 parts with the editor click the type box and select MECHPART, in the item box add mechdef_assassin_ASN-23, quantity in the box to the right, then click add to inventory.
