Did this issue start after yesterdays patch? Either way, we'd really appreciate it if you could send a bug report to the official forum:
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?forums/battletech-bug-reports.998/
Basically any action except movement will soft lock the game when this bug comes. You can still press ESC to open menu but that is. Doesn't matter if it's your or enemy action. Reloading the save doesn't help. Haven't checked if restarting the game works for me.
Played around 10h on the new patch, no bugs. Than Lib. Panzyr hits... and since that mission started I can no longer play any mission due to this bug. validate gamefiles? nothing.
Tested to use different Mechs, Loadouts, Pilots, Targets, Missions... as soon as I want to fire at something - endless waiting.
Disabled every Camera movement stuff in the Options as well.
Moral of the story: don't buy games from Harebrained. I never will again. Shadowrun was amazing, Battletech is shoddy as hell.
Harebrained, I used to love you guys, but you really have dropped the ball with this game. What is going on here? Are you going to fix this?
Does anyone have a solution as to how to proceed with our campaigns when this bug happens? My save game is horked, and no matter how many times I reload the save game, every time I try to attack something the game stops responding, and the only thing I can do is quit or reload.
ok just had a quick look at your post history and so far I have seen a pattern with your PC

lots of games seem to crash/or lock up and you don't look at the big link between all of them, yes I am suggesting rather than the games it might just be your PC,
when 1 in 10000 people get a problem its more likely a situation where their pcs are the problem rather than the game.
