(never read the novels past the 3060-era, when it started getting too stupid; and only got books/games from FASA, not CGL.)
Seems this bundle would actually fit my collection, as I don't think the TRO bundle had the basic ruleset or even Alpha Strike included.
Not that I have much time for getting into the TableTop nowadays, and definetly would have to find some other players first, I think the next gameshop that actually got BT in store/an active BT community would be quite a distance.
As a collector of sorts I would actually prefer physical box sets like my CityTech/AeroTech/SpaceTech boxes I still got. Sadly my brother was the one who got all the rulesets/TROs back then, and has given them away years ago, so I am left with the stuff I bought in addition to those.

Well, seems like this new pack is (mostly) partt of that pack I already bought, that is I got the base game and Alpha Strike as well as some other rulesets, faction manuals and scenarios, but while I got the Arano faction book and a Combat Manual: Kurita, it seems to lack the Force Manual: Kurita (unless it's the same under a different name) and definetly Force Manual: Davion, as well as a few other things.
Funny enough I have the battletech(3rd ed), citytech, battleforce 2, and battlespace boxsets sitting on my shelf right now. opened but has all the stuff that came with it still inside. To include all the cardboard models and the unpainted plastic ones. All my books look like the books in a over worked scientist lab. Being held together with clear tape and the lack of wind. The older books got right to the point and keep all the info you needed in an area you could easily find it. I have played with A time of war RPG game more then a few times and all the rules are all over the place. The new rule books repeat the same info over and over again as filler(some times the same paragraphs are printed 2 times on the same page). The rule books are hard to read and the info often times different in book then the charts in the back of the book(see pay chart on a time of war for example). The you have the newest RPG game Destiny. I have no idea what they where thinking when they came out with that.
