Hyades Rim Question

I've been playing the Hyades Rim mod for quite a while (currently on day 2,110).
The storyline seems to be moving along at less than a snail's pace. Is there something I'm not doing.
I'm stuck at getting past "The Mad Cat who Walks Through Walls" flashpoint. Is this flashpoint what's holding up continuance of the storyline?
