Report a translation problem
As for the game, it's just rng. Been a bit since I looked, but iirc there is a 45% chance for the game to roll a male pilot, 45% for a female and 10% for non-binary.
When I look for female pilots to hire, it feels like every planet is 4-5 guys, 0-1 girl. :)
Do believe that's correct. If you want to tweak it though Deadbridge there is a mod for that. Think I set my games at 59, 40, 1
I sometimes make themed groups. Like, the Holyhead Harpies merc company was all female. :D
But yeah, given that you can modify a lot of the random pilot details after hiring, it's not that big a deal. (I switch the voices on my randoms if there are any duplicates, so that every pilot sounds different, for instance.)
It should not be about gender, it should be about skills as a mechwarrior. I don't care what the pilots believe, they can keep that to themselves. What I care about are my expensive mechs and how well you treat it on the battlefield.
We scoop out the brains and put them in jars to pilot the mechs
