I don't have a picture for a K2 variant. the K2 variant I'd use would be 4 MPL++, 1 AC/2++, 4JJ, 5DHS, 15 ton armor, 1 Rangefinder+++, 1 Gyro (+3HD)
oh, I didn't read the question well enough. I guess I can go back and build a C4 SRM boat so that the lance would be 1 C4 SRM, 1 C4 LRM, 1 C1 LRM, 1 K2 MPL.
there goes a C4 SRM boat, to mark the 4th different build. note that I built these CATs in base game with no DLC.
(Scathe - why bother with the DHS in those two LRM boats? The heat efficiency seems plenty high, you could use regulars, or drop them to increase the armor. Or do you generally build to max out the heat efficiency bar? Obviously, I don't. ;)
edit: and, of course, I don't have an unlimited supply of DHS, so I tend to only put them in the mechs that *really* need it.)
the C1 variant cannot go higher in LRM's than LRM40. there is an overload of armor and heat sinking at LRM40. that is fine. I guess if I had wanted to change up the C4 LRM boat I could have gone up to LRM45. then it would put heat sinking in a territory you're more comfortable with, with 1 DHS instead of 2. that would put armor a bit low for my liking though. since I'm wanting 1 extra ton of armor over an LRM45 version, I guess the only other thing I could have gone with is a TTS+++ instead of 1 DHS. I feel it is being nitpicky thing to consider. the opening post clearly stated "top tier tech unlimited" hence all heat sinking will be DHS if they fit. I don't see any reason for the LRM boats to go higher in armor than they already are due to both the K2 and C4 SRM having full jump jets and near max armor, those close range builds are the "tanks" of the lance I built.

Hellcat - C1 - 2xInferno++, 2xflamer+++, 3xMPL++, 4xJJ, 5xDHS, cockpit mod, defence gyro, 1280 armor. Brawler.
♥♥♥♥♥cat - C4 - 2xLRM15+++, 2xLRM5++2dmg, 1xERML++, 2xDHS, comm mod+++, defence gyro, 1120 armor. Long range support.
Wildcat - K2 - 1xUAC10++, 1xSnubPPC++,2ML++dmg. 5xDHS. Cockpit mod and defence gyro. 1120 armor. Brawler.

F. Exs if you wanna do 2 LL on a C4 they full up the center torso with no room for a gyro. So they better go with 3-4 missile weapons and max one 1-slot laser weapon.
I also think in MW4, which had hardpoint setups similar to this game, I sometimes ran 4x SRM6 and 1 LL.
Ofc, I havent used a Cat in this game, since salvage its a pita. Only Catapult I got was Victorias...and used it like once maybe....

Heat efficiency is 48 AS plus up to 8 jumping versus 51 sinking with 288 max damage; can fire 16 times plus a final salvo of 16 missiles. This is one bad kitty!
Ofc, trading the HS for doubles and replacing three of them with a +3 missile TTS makes it that much more effective....
