Is there a mod to speed turns up?
When ever there's an LRM missile vehicle I may as well just come back next week when the turn is finished.

Yes, the equivalent of having the spacebar pressed all the time.

Ok

1) what the hell are you talking about?
2) what mods are you using if any?

LRM missile tank turn only takes a few seconds.
Were you trying to be funny ? :liao:
Funny does not work well on forums.

What and miss out on the targeted mech entrenched, bulwark and in cover having it's paint scratched by a LRM missile barrage that takes 10 seconds? Perish the thought! :steamhappy:

Well, if LRM boat fires from max range it does take few big seconds for the full volley to reach the targed... still: seconds, not weeks ;-)

He's probably talking about movement. The larger vehicles can be painfully slow. Hitting the spacebar can speed things up.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

This worked well enough, thanks.

1: The glacial pace that turns progress hurts my teeth.

2: none. It has to do with the occasional composition of the enemy side.

We actually got this for RT speeds up all animations

I'll look into this as well, thanks.

I've used
Movement Speed Customizer[www.nexusmods.com] (set to 1.75 times vanilla)
Better Performance[www.nexusmods.com]
BattletechPerformanceFix[github.com]
boostedGameSpeed[www.nexusmods.com] (edited so just its audio setting changes).

Those all make things faster than vanilla but isn't (IMO) silly like spamming the spacebar is.

Oh no the indignanty of having to actually press one's spacebar how awfully common and tedious :steamfacepalm:

In game tips (if you haven't seen it):

You can make combat dramatically faster by selecting "Speed Up Combat" in the Settings menu.

I have an excel sheet that weighs spent time vs how much I make an hour. Trying to min/max my returns here.

Why are you so bent out of shape about my preference? There are some missions where I can preform two turns on other games (X-com, I literally play x-com on another window while playing this game), solely because of how the game handles some of its animations and pacing. While I understand they made this choice as part of their desire to deliver more cinematic game play, it falls short to me, because all I need really are the results of the turn.

Less a lack of patience, more that I don't desire aesthetics.

I guess my beef is with the fact that you're either trying to antagonize me for a petty reason in which you are wholly unaffected by. which is just a stupid thing to do. Or that after the answer was provided you barged back in wanting to get a last bite as if to plant some sort of metaphorical flag. If I turned the graphics to ASCII in some way it wouldn't change your game, why care? Leave me to mine, I'll leave you to yours.

Have a good one.
