Game size with Battletech Advanced?

So, I only have 50 GB or so spare, I'm just wondering.

The base game +DLC (without any save files) is 33.52GB. I'm not sure how big BTA is, but it should be doable.

My game folder (with BEX installed) is 60GB, but looking in it I see what are probably CAB installer cache files. So it doesn't actually take that much space.

That said, it suggests that it needs extra space while installing. So 50GB might be pushing it, especially if it's your main system drive, which should keep some free space.


. . .I should probably figure out which of those I can safely delete at some point. But I'm not running short of room, so there's no pressure. /shrug

So, some of that 60 GB can be deleted, then?

Yes. Probably 10-15gb of it. So yeah, it's less than 50gb installed. But it used more space while installing.

(in general, it's a bad idea to let your drive get to 95%+ full. Especially if it's your active/system drive. If it's just a data drive, it might be okay, but updates & installs can frequently need temporary space for unpacking files into.)

with BTA3062 installed my install location is 46.5gb in size but do remember that BTA needs a cache folder which can be separate to the install location, this is 26.5gb for me.
