That said, it suggests that it needs extra space while installing. So 50GB might be pushing it, especially if it's your main system drive, which should keep some free space.
. . .I should probably figure out which of those I can safely delete at some point. But I'm not running short of room, so there's no pressure. /shrug
(in general, it's a bad idea to let your drive get to 95%+ full. Especially if it's your active/system drive. If it's just a data drive, it might be okay, but updates & installs can frequently need temporary space for unpacking files into.)
