Cooling suits during the tail end of the Third Succession war?

Isn't high tech cooling suits like lostech by this point? From my source books most, if not all Mech pilots have at most a cooling vest, underware and a neural helmet.

pretty sure there is, I mean, on extended campaigns they practically live inside the cockpit.

You got it in one. By this time period all I.S. Houses use a vest...some underwear or shorts, and boots (boots are mentioned to have steel plating in the sole so you dont get your feet burned from temp increases in the cockpit)

The only groups with functional Cooling Suits are the Com Guard (But shhh...no one knows about the com guard...well no one knows and stays alive)

There is the Mechwarrior Combat Suit. Which is full bodied and armored. I'm not sure about it's availability in 3025. It's considered Lostech, but afaik the elite Kurita guard and DEST would still have access to it.

From what I heard if you make a enemy out of Federated Suns, Draconis Combine, or Free worlds league. Who gives a crap except them.

If you make a enemy out of Comstar, You're Already Dead.
